Blue Square #1

3 1/2 inch square

Edit: This is a Teeny Tiny Squares block so each square is one inch so the block will be 3 inch finished - this went together very quickly and it is so small I didn't need to use any pins. Now that the test block is done I'm getting ready to chain piece the rest... Shari

are you saying the finished size is 3 12 inches or you used 3 1/2 inch squares, either way, I love the blue fabric, the block looks so crisp and bright.

I like the blue and white....I have some antique blue and white dishes that would go with that block!!

Those little blocks are going to be so cute. But working with those little pieces takes a lot of time. I know that is what I have been playing with for the last few days.

I am not a blue person, but I just love that blue fabric! Great block.

Mmmmm, Shari - what are we up to now? Nine-patches and pinwheels are my very favourite blocks!

I'm wondering the same thing as Jane...although I'm guessing the complete block is 3 1/2". I do love blue and white. Most of my dishes and teapots are blue and white.

This is a Teeny Tiny Squares block so it is now 3 1/2 inches with one inch squares and 3 inch finished. It went together very easy and it is so small I didn't need to use pins.

Ooo..."sew" small..but I love it! Do you use the strip method when making quilts as such? I've been working on some stitchery this week & once I get them into a finished item I want to begin a small quilt project. I think I'll do a couple small projects before starting that 30"x 30" wall hanging pattern I got the other day!
