No time to collect selvages/selvedges?
Look at this great cheater fabric I found.
 
I broke my rule and actually bought 1 metre.
 
And here's a handy tip.
I transported my 2.5" strips to my ironing board on my long ruler.

It was very easy to keep them tidy!

    Oooh, I picked up that fabric the other day at Spotlight but in the end decided against it. Now I am wondering if I made the right decision.
