QW11 No. 6

This quilt was not an official part of the exhibition. There was a blank spot so our intrepid leader 'pulled one from the stack' to hang up. She made it in 2004.

A real beauty and a favourite with the crowd...

A wonderful combination of precision piecing and applique.

So happy there was a blank spot so we could see the gorgeous feathered star. A favorite block of mine. I love the crispness of blue and white.

So much detail in both quilts! Incredible

Oh my - how lovely - that feathered star is just so gorgeous! And I love quilts with both intricate piecing and applique - I'm ok with applique but not so good with piecing, so I'm fascinated when someone is exceptional with both! Thanks Shari!
