I had to go in to this box today to retrieve some Velcro for my niece-in-law.
It is a miscellaneous haberdashery box.

Oh I do this too. One thing I've learned.. never change boxes after a few years, or you will totally forget where stuff is. LOL! So start out with a BIG one so it doesn't get too small.
I see your self-covered buttons - where can I buy 1 1/2" like Nedra's?

We all have boxes like this--overflowing with sewing goodies! Mine is in a shoe box; not nearly as pretty as your box!
I just came from a local store that had these boxes in all sizes and shapes. They would be great to store lots of things in. Yours is so pretty.
