Facebook

I impulsively opened a Facebook account yesterday. What was I thinking! I can barely keep up with my blog! Many of you would have received some sort of email asking to be friends or to join Facebook (apologies - I really didn't know what I was doing!) So please don't think I expect you to join Facebook or anything! I'll see how I go for a little while with both - but if it gets too hard (i.e. time consuming) Facebook will have to go...

A wild storm front is passing through Perth - squally winds and rain! Hope you have sunshine where you are!

Cheers - Shari

I have resisted doing this, and it's not easy!!!! EVERYONE is on facebook. But I know myself too well - a blog is about all I can handle, lol. Stay safe through the storm!

I really must resist the urge, though I would love to - I wouldn't get any sleep! Wow, are we ever copping the storm down here - nice to be warm inside!

This is so funny Shari...this is something I would do. I finally gave in much to my own disgust...
I must say it won't be something I use too often but it has put me in touch with people I had lost touch with and ... all my updates come via email anyway.
Good luck with it!
BTW, it's nowhere near as much fun as blogging!
hugs
Robyn xx

I feel like you. I was asked to join Facebook a while ago, I think in February, I thought about it and then determined that I just don't have the capability to keep up with both blogging and Facebook. No worries though. I hope the storm provided you with some quality quilting time.

I responded to your friend request but that is about all I know how to do. There is no way I can start a page because I would wind up spending hours on it. My blog and twitter zap about all the techie knowledge I have.

I know there are alot of people who spend alot of time on facebook, I do not....I will vist for a few minutes and then I am off, not unless one of my sons is on and then I will stay on. It is a great way to find old friends and stay in touch. Glad you joined.

My facebook always takes a back seat to my blog. It is a nice way to keep in touch though.
Hope you stay safe in the storm.
